ETSY DDP DEADLINE · JUL 09 2026
For Etsy sellers outside the US

Etsy's tariff deadline is set.
Your prices aren't ready.

From July 9, 2026, Etsy requires DDP shipping on every order to a US buyer — tariffs prepaid by you, baked into your prices. Etsy's calculator does one listing at a time. TariffReady reprices your whole shop from a single CSV upload — duty estimates, Etsy fee compounding, and a paste-ready file for your US prices.

US price that keeps your net whole$—

Simplified estimate. Assumes Etsy 6.5% transaction fee and ~4% + $0.30 payment processing; Etsy charges its fees on the duty-inflated price — that's why adding the duty isn't enough. Final duties are set by carriers/customs. Estimates support pricing decisions; they are not customs or tax advice.

The hidden math

Adding the tariff to your price isn't enough.

Etsy's transaction fee applies to the tariff-inflated price. Raise your price by the duty alone and the extra fees quietly eat your margin on every single US order — multiplied across every listing and variation in your shop.

Today $42.00

A $42 item nets you about $37.29 after Etsy + payment fees.

"Just add 10% duty" $46.20

The DDP duty is now charged on the higher price — and so is Etsy's cut. Both bigger than you planned for.

−$0.86 lost per order, every order
TariffReady price $47.28

Duty + fee compounding solved together. Your net stays exactly where it was.

Net preserved: $37.29

Worked example with a 10% duty rate, Etsy 6.5% transaction fee, 4% + $0.30 payment processing. Your actual rates depend on your products, country of origin and payment account — that's exactly what TariffReady calculates per listing.

How it works

Three steps. No app install, no shop access.

TariffReady works from the CSV export you already have in your Shop Manager. We never ask for your Etsy login or API access.

STEP 01

Export your listings

In Etsy: Shop Manager → Settings → Options → Download Data. You get the official "Currently for Sale Listings" CSV.

STEP 02

Upload & set your country

We read titles, materials and prices, suggest an HS code per listing, and apply current US duty rates and surcharges for your shipping country.

STEP 03

Get your repricing sheet

One row per listing: suggested HS code, estimated duty, and the recommended US price — fee compounding included. Ready for Etsy's US-specific prices.

Questions you should be asking

Is this affiliated with Etsy?
No. TariffReady is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Etsy, Inc. "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. We simply work with the CSV files Etsy lets every seller export.
Are your duty estimates guaranteed to be exact?
No — and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Final duties are determined by US customs and collected by your carrier when you buy a DDP label. TariffReady gives you defensible estimates for pricing decisions: suggested HS codes (which you can review), current duty rates and surcharges, and the fee math Etsy applies on top. It's not customs, tax or legal advice.
What do you need from me? Do I have to connect my shop?
Just the listings CSV that Etsy already lets you download, plus the country you ship from. No Etsy login, no API connection, no app permissions. Your file is processed to generate your report and not shared with anyone.
Does it handle listings with variations?
Yes — that's one of the main reasons we built this. Etsy's own beta calculator currently doesn't work on listings with variations, which for many shops is most of the catalogue.
Which countries does it work for?
Any non-US shipping origin, with current rates and surcharge rules for the UK, EU countries, Canada and Australia handled in detail. If your country has a special arrangement, the report says which assumptions were used.
What if the rules change again?
They probably will — they've changed several times since 2025. Founding access includes unlimited re-runs through August 9, 2026, so you can reprice again when rates move.
